ZeMKI, Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research has announced a call for applications for its Visiting Research Fellowship 2026, inviting international scholars to spend four weeks in Bremen conducting research on the transformation of media, communication, and information.

The fellowship is aimed at established researchers seeking to deepen their work within ZeMKI’s interdisciplinary research environment. Eligible disciplines include media and communication studies, computer science, film studies, educational sciences, religious studies, and history.

Since 2017, ZeMKI has regularly hosted visiting researchers from around the world, offering opportunities for international exchange and collaboration within the University of Bremen’s academic community.
