Figure 02 is self-different from other humanoid robots by many innovative features and improvements that enhance its functionality and capability in interaction.

Key Differences:

  • Self-correcting behavior: Figure 02 can identify and correct his mistakes on his own, thus learning without any intervention of humans. In so doing, it can re-adapt, over time, allowing it to function as it should and become most effective at its work compared to other humanoid robots which need constant reprogramming or manual supervision.
  • Advanced Communication: It is designed with speech-to-speech capabilities, thus enabling the robot to communicate with the human workers. This is enhanced through the use of AI models, created in collaboration with OpenAI, to be customized and hence understand and respond to voice input.
  • More Dexterity: The hand architecture of Figure 02 is very advanced and is equipped with 16 degrees of freedom, making it capable of dexterous manipulation. Such a level of dexterity is up to par with that of a human hand, and this will enable the robot to manipulate objects and tools more effectively than many existing humanoid robots.
  • Visual Language Model: Figure 02 is equipped with six RGB cameras, which enhance its visual information processing and consequently increase understanding and interpretation of its environment. This therefore makes the robot capable of following instructions and descriptions given through visual means, which are highly universal in most setups, particularly in manufacturing.
  • Sleek and Sophisticated Design: The new matte finish that has been made to give the robot will surely serve as some good improvement in aesthetic appeal, where the functional design is not restricted to looks but also with improvements to its functionality through carrying the cables and components inside. This design overhaul gives it much more of a look of a model that is production ready rather than just a prototype.
  • Figure 02 Specifications: Refinement is given for increased durability the humanoid is as follows: height – 5’6″, weight – approximately 70 kg, payload – 20 kg; speed at 1.2 meters per second and can be operational for up to 5 hours of operation. These specifications are thus developed for the possibility in a wide range of tasks within diversifying environments.

In general, the humanoid robot – Figure 02 is quite a development from the point of view of artificial intelligence in the correct designing context in the physical, along with adaptations.
