Women Go Tech's free AI course remains available until May 30, giving interested learners more time to complete a self-paced introduction to using AI tools in everyday work.

Developed with support from Google.org, the course is designed for beginners and covers basic AI concepts, practical use of tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot, and examples of how AI can support common professional tasks.

What the Free AI Course Includes

The program has registered more than 23,000 learners across cohorts, with women making up around 96% of participants. In 2025, there were 23,683 registrations, including 982 new learners in the currently running third cohort. 16,229 participants received at least one hour of AI training, while 1,977 completed the full course and received individual certificates.

Free AI Course Participation and Reported Productivity Gains

Survey data shared by the organization shows that many participants found the course useful in their day-to-day work. Among 661 respondents, 36.46% reported a significant improvement in productivity, while 57.03% reported a slight improvement. Overall, around 93.49% said their productivity improved after taking part.

AI in Action Follow-Up Program Reopens

The organization has also reopened the third cohort of AI in Action, a follow-up program for learners who want to continue with more hands-on AI use. The first module is now available for free through a separate registration form. The full self-paced program includes six modules: prompting and GPTs, building a first AI workflow, automation use cases, turning data into decisions, creating an AI assistant, and using AI agents in practical workflows.
