Constellation has opened applications for the Astra Fellowship, its flagship program designed to accelerate research and talent development in AI safety.

Astra is a fully funded, 3–6 month in-person program at Constellation’s research center in Berkeley. Fellows work on AI safety projects with mentorship from experts at Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Redwood Research, METR, and the UK AI Security Institute.

More than 80% of the first cohort are now working full-time in leading AI safety organizations. The new cycle aims to place even more fellows in key roles and support the launch of new initiatives tackling urgent challenges.
