Held at the National Speed Skating Oval, the audience witnessed robots playing three-a-side football, running 400 and 1,500 meter races, boxing, table tennis, as well as tackling practical challenges like medication sorting and logistics tasks.
Scenes of robots stumbling but quickly picking themselves up and continuing their routines drew smiles and applause from the crowd, underscoring notable advances in robotics.

The H1 robot from Unitree Robotics claimed four gold medals in athletics, while X-Humanoid dominated the 100-meter sprint and logistics events.
The competition brought more than just sporting rivalry. Audiences were treated to spectacular robot performances in dance, music, and a joint fashion show with human models. On-site, engineers and “robot doctors” rushed to repair malfunctions, while each event stress-tested the latest in mechanical design and artificial intelligence.
Organizers emphasized that the goal was not just competition, but also to promote innovation and knowledge exchange, and to demonstrate the practical applications of humanoid robotics in daily life, from industry to social care.
The next World Humanoid Robot Games have already been announced for August 2026, once again in Beijing, where robots will have the opportunity to showcase even more advanced abilities in new disciplines.
