The Aspen Institute has launched the Technology Leaders Initiative, a two-year program for senior figures across the global technology ecosystem. The program invites participants not only to influence products and policy, but to reflect on the broader question: What kind of digital world are we building?

As artificial intelligence becomes deeply integrated into work, communication, and governance, the initiative offers a space for personal reflection, meaningful dialogue, and strong peer connections. Participants will explore questions of responsibility, long-term impact, and leadership values through four in-person seminars held in key international technology centers.

Focus on Thoughtful, Cross-Sector Leadership

Fellows are selected for their experience and potential to contribute across industries, sectors, and regions.

The program draws on the model of the Henry Crown Fellowship and will welcome approximately 20 senior leaders in its first cohort. Candidates come from industry, academia, government, and civil society and are expected to hold, or soon step into, roles of significant influence in the technology field.

Program Launch: Resnick Aspen Action Forum

The first cohort will convene at the 2025 Resnick Aspen Action Forum, where they will explore the theme “Defining a Good Digital Society.” The initiative encourages fellows to move from private reflection to shared responsibility,  contributing not only to their organizations, but to the broader direction of the digital world.
