Adobe has launched three of its most popular apps directly into ChatGPT, making them instantly accessible to the platform’s 800 million weekly users. Photoshop, Adobe Express and Acrobat can be used simply by typing commands in ChatGPT, without ever leaving the platform.

What Does This Actually Mean
Instead of learning complex interfaces, users can now edit photos, design invitations or transform documents just by describing what they want to achieve. For example, it’s enough to type: “Adobe Photoshop, help me blur the background of this image” – and ChatGPT automatically launches the app and executes the action.
What you can do with each app:
Photoshop – adjust specific parts of an image, fine-tune brightness, contrast and exposure, apply creative effects like Glitch and Glow
Adobe Express – browse professional design templates, replace text and images, animate designs, all within the chat
Acrobat – directly edit PDFs, extract text and tables, merge documents, compress files, redact sensitive information
Why This Matters
This integration brings Adobe’s professional-grade tools to people who might have found them intimidating before.
The conversational approach removes the learning curve – you just describe what you need, and the tool does it.
It’s Adobe’s bet on what they call “agentic AI” – AI that acts on your behalf to get things done.
For those who need the full power and precision of Adobe’s tools, moving from ChatGPT into the native apps is seamless, with the ability to continue exactly where you left off.
Availability
All three apps are free for ChatGPT users globally and available now on desktop, web and iOS.
